Description & Requirements
Maximus is currently hiring an Instructional Design - Training Director. This is a remote opportunity. The Instructional Design - Training Director leads the strategic planning and execution of comprehensive training initiatives, overseeing the design, development, and delivery of both technical and end-user learning programs. This role ensures alignment with organizational goals while driving impactful learning experiences that enhance performance and engagement across the board scope and multiple lines of business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to assist with process development, review article changes requests and prioritize planned updates.
- Manage projects, analyze, and perform analysis related to operational policies and procedures to identify issues, recommend resolutions, and execute results.
- Manage and maintain operations support staff counts by site, calculating/documenting plan counts in BOEs, comparing actual/plan counts by week, and scheduling hiring/training activities as needed.
- Manage a team of staff who develops, updates and maintains internal operational policies, procedures and executes operations projects.
- Manage CSR ramp-down activities, collecting annual requirements, building schedule, and monitoring/executing plan.
- Audit new hire and annual compliance training completions to ensure required activities are completed and documented.
- Manage CSR career path and promotional advancement recruiting processes to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
- Review and audit internal operations processes to facilitate accurate documentation.
- Bachelors degree required.
- Five (5) years of people management experience required. 
- Ten (10) years of experience in areas of learning, Corporate Learning & Development, facilitation, design, development, or related field required.
- Comprehensive project management skills, including planning, execution, and delivery of complex initiatives.
- Strong client management abilities to build and maintain effective relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of instructional design principles.
- Expertise in adult learning theory and its application in training programs.

Home Office Requirements:
- Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net).
- Connectivity to the internet via either Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router.
- Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US.

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
