Job Description
You will report directly to our Sr. Director Engineering, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will focus primarily on reviewing, updating, and revising existing technical, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), and compliance courses to enhance their effectiveness, engagement, and alignment with new Honeywell Aerospace. By leveraging innovative instructional strategies, you will contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Course Review and Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing technical, HSE and compliance courses to evaluate instructional effectiveness, learning outcomes, and adherence to Honeywell Aerospace standards.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify areas in courses that point to corporate resources that will not be available to Honeywell Aerospace and make necessary revisions.
Content Development and Revision:
Update course materials, including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and assessments to reflect future Honeywell Aerospace practices, techniques, and regulations.
Design engaging and interactive learning activities that align with the learning objectives for both technical and compliance training.
Instructional Design:
Apply instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, or others to create high-quality educational experiences that promote learner engagement and retention.
Revise assessment tools, such as quizzes and practical exercises that are not tied to corporate standards.

Quality Assurance:
Implement quality assurance processes to ensure all materials meet organizational Honeywell Aerospace standards and learning objectives.
Gather feedback from both learners and SMEs to continually improve course materials and instructional methods.
 
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Proven experience in instructional design and development of training programs.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems.
  • Ability to analyze training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
