Job Title: Instructional Designer
Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 remote)
Employment Type: Contract (3–6 months, potential for extension or conversion)
Pay Rate: $50.00–$55.00/hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Instructional Designer to support the development of training materials and process documentation for internal teams. This position will focus on capturing workflows, building step-by-step system documentation, and creating training content for accounting functions (AP, AR, etc.).

This is an execution-focused role requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work directly with end users to document and translate processes into clear, user-friendly materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with AP, AR, and other accounting teams to document workflows and processes
  • Capture screenshots and create step-by-step system navigation guides
  • Develop training content using Articulate Rise (Rise 360)
  • Create screen recordings and training videos using Snagit
  • Build and maintain documentation, including procedures and reference materials
  • Log and catalog training and documentation assets
  • Support system training and help end users understand processes and tools
  • Assist in developing materials that will evolve into full training handbooks

Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience creating training materials and process documentation
  • Hands-on experience with Articulate Rise or Rise 360 (required)
  • Experience with Snagit or similar screen capture/video tools
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Experience supporting accounting or finance-related teams (AP/AR)
  • Experience documenting system workflows or internal processes

Work Environment / Schedule
  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in Irving, TX; 2 days remote
  • Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
