Job Title: Instructional Designer
Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our client and support their learning and development initiatives. This remote, contract position is based near Conshohocken, PA and may require occasional onsite presence (up to one day per week). The role focuses on designing, developing, and producing engaging and effective learning materials, including e-learning modules, reference materials, and visual presentations.
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our client and support their learning and development initiatives. This remote, contract position is based near Conshohocken, PA and may require occasional onsite presence (up to one day per week). The role focuses on designing, developing, and producing engaging and effective learning materials, including e-learning modules, reference materials, and visual presentations.
Compensation:
- Up to $50/hour
Work Schedule:
- Varies between 20–40 hours per week
- Hours fall within a standard 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM schedule
Key Responsibilities of the Instructional Designer:
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather learning objectives and project requirements
- Design and develop a variety of learning assets, including job aids, narrated slideshow videos, and interactive e-learning content
- Utilize Articulate Rise 360 and related tools to build engaging modules
- Ensure content meets instructional design best practices and brand standards
- Troubleshoot technical issues with learning platforms and assets
- Create materials for live and self-guided learning sessions
Qualifications and Skills for the Instructional Designer:
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Word
- Required experience with Articulate Rise 360
- Experience with AI narration tools (e.g., WellSaid.io), Adobe Premiere or Audition preferred
- Familiarity with tools such as Vyond, Articulate Storyline, Snagit, Camtasia, and other Adobe products is a plus
- Solid graphic design abilities for creating visually engaging content
- Experience developing learning scripts and facilitating webinars
- Understanding of handling and presenting healthcare-related information (PHI)
