Key Responsibilities
  • Develop technical training courses designed specifically for our Field Operations audience.
  • Build and compose PowerPoint instructor-led training content, in addition to eLearning content using tools like Articulate 360.
  • Conduct independent needs assessments, research content, and develop comprehensive storyboards.
  • Collaborate closely with internal clients and subject matter advisors to build or update learning content while following branding guidelines and version control.
  • Utilize the SharePoint materials management system to guarantee seamless publishing, versioning, tagging, and regulation of training content.
  • Research and implement innovative training development approaches to improve learning experiences and increase client happiness.
  • Successfully lead your development projects to ensure the timely delivery of training programs.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Related university degree and 4+ years of experience OR 6+ years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience. An additional 3 years of experience is required in lieu of university degree.
  • Having an educational background in instructional design, adult learning, teaching or training, or related areas- combined with practical experience applying instructional design principles in workplace settings- is a highly valued skill.
  • Proven experience in conducting needs assessments, identifying training/performance gaps, and crafting effective learning solutions.
  • Proficient in eLearning development tools and content production software such as MS PowerPoint, Articulate 360, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Outstanding research and investigation skills.
  • Ability to establish credibility and cultivate positive relationships with internal clients, subject matter advisors, and external parties.
Preferred:
  • Certification such as CTDP (Certified Training and Development Professional) or CTP (Certified Training Practitioner) is considered an asset.
  • Experience utilizing SharePoint for material management, following branding guidelines, and controlling versions.
  • Tolerance for ambiguity and uncertainty, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
