The instructional designer sets and drives the online learning strategy for the organization as well as the purchase, creation and development of engaging interactive online and classroom-based training courses. Responsibilities include vendor identification and relationship management with regard to training content. Designs and delivers online and instructor-based content for a variety of projects and is responsible for the entire training lifecycle, including planning with relevant SMEs, establishing objectives, identification of audience, determining distribution strategy and method, development and launch of content and evaluation of course. Topics will vary from detailed procedural items, compliance topics, and interpersonal skill development.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Education or related field Required or
- Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
Experience
- 5 years experience working in Instructional Design both instructor-led and eLearning Required
- 2 years experience and knowledge of eLearning standards (SCORM, AICC) and Learning Management Systems and authoring software like Articulate or Captivate Required
- General Experience and knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design process (ISD and ADDIE) Required
- General Experience working in a clinical or Healthcare environment Preferred
