About the Role:
In the role of Instructional Designer at Priority, you will build impactful learning experiences that drive employee growth by leading projects, designing multi-modal training, and collaborating with SMEs and stakeholders to deliver digital and instructor-led programs. The position requires strong instructional design skills, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and offers the opportunity to shape learning across our evolving fintech landscape. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and contribute to Priority’s goal of equipping employees with the critical skills needed to succeed.  

Responsibilities: 
  • Conduct Training Needs Assessments (TNA) to identify training requirements and align programs with organizational goals.
  • Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to design, plan, and evaluate impactful learning solutions.
  • Manage and deliver small to medium instructional design projects from intake through implementation.
  • Design and develop engaging e-learning modules, videos, and instructor-led resources using the SAM instructional design model that align with adult learning principles and performance outcomes. 
  • Leverage advanced skills in eLearning tools (Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline), design software (Canva, Vyond), and other necessary avenues for creating polished multimedia assets. 
  • Create rich interactive learning experiences (e.g., quizzes, branching, drag-and-drop) to drive engagement and retention.
  • Simplify complex technical or financial concepts into clear, learner-friendly content.
  • Measure and evaluate training effectiveness against KPIs, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Continuously improve content and delivery methods based on qualitative feedback and quantitative data gathered through the Kirkpatrick framework.
  • Ensure training outputs support business performance metrics and contribute to organizational growth.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: You should have a bachelor's degree, ideally in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in instructional design, demonstrating independence in content development and an understanding of corporate training environments.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced skills in instructional design tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and LMS platforms) and design software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, Vyond).
  • Creative Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to design innovative training solutions tailored to meet diverse learner needs, applying analytical skills to address learning gaps and optimize content.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure training quality, accuracy, and alignment with company standards.
  • Adaptability and Collaboration: Able to work both independently and as part of a team, adapting to evolving organizational needs with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Professional Certification: Possess or be willing to pursue an APTD, CPTD, CPTM, or other recognized certification in instructional design, demonstrating a commitment to continuous development in the field. Future growth opportunities in L&D roles are available for high performers.
