Job Description

Job Overview:
  • Our client is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer from Utilities and Energy industry to support a growing energy client by designing and updating engaging e-learning content and training materials. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of hands-on experience in instructional design, with expertise in Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise, and a strong focus on compliance and regulatory standards.
  • This is a hybrid role based in Carmel, IN, with 3 days onsite per week. If you're a creative, detail-oriented instructional designer with a passion for developing impactful learning experiences, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update and enhance existing e-learning modules for improved engagement and effectiveness.
  • Design and develop new training materials, including interactive e-learnings, video tutorials, in-person training content, job aids, and infographics.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and internal teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with learning objectives.
  • Apply ADDIE and L&D best practices to create high-quality instructional content.
  • Ensure all training materials meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible learning content.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3–4 years of experience in instructional design or content development.
  • Proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience designing compliance-focused training materials.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in learning design, e-learning development, or related fields.
