Instructional Designer
Position Type: Full-Time (Open to Contract or FTE)

Position Summary
The Instructional Designer supports the development of engaging and effective learning experiences aligned with defined learning outcomes. This role collaborates closely with the Training Team and internal departments to design, develop, and implement both online and in-person training materials. The Instructional Designer will apply evidence-based instructional strategies, leverage learning technologies, and iterate on content based on feedback and data insights. A key focus of this role is integrating technology-enhanced courses to support learning across various delivery modes.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop course content and curriculum for in-person, hybrid, and online learning.Create computer-based training modules and in-person training exercises.Partner with teams to define course goals, structure, and assessments.Develop and maintain engaging course materials using instructional design best practices.Analyze, update, and refine content to ensure continuous improvement and learner engagement.Manage and maintain the training platform, including setup, user management, and troubleshooting.Develop supporting documentation such as Job Aids, Quick Reference Guides, and training manuals.Respond to and resolve user-reported training material issues.Stay current with trends, tools, and best practices in instructional design and adult learning theory.

Qualifications
Required: High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related fieldAt least 3 years of instructional design experience​
