Summary: Design, setup, and operationalization of the Marketing Department’s training and extended onboarding program.
· Business Deliverables & Outcomes
- Deliver a standardized, scalable onboarding and training experience that accelerates new-hire readiness and reduces operational variance across the Marketing team.
- Develop Knowledge Management materials (onboarding and process documentation) and content management standards, which will support both immediate team needs and long-term onboarding consistency.
- This effort requires advanced instructional design documentation expertise to translate procedural tribal knowledge and evolving processes into durable, searchable, and enterprise-aligned knowledge assets.
- Build the foundational knowledge layer—process documentation, content management structures, learning assets, and standardized onboarding materials—using rapid, AI-supported development methods for reduced learning time and faster time-to-value.
- Research and develop content on utilizing AI tools (Copilot, M365, Adobe Firefly, etc.) for rapid content production, enabling us to create clean, consistent documentation, quick microlearning resources, and system walkthroughs without the heavy development cycles typical of complete training modules.
- Establish a sustainable Knowledge Management ecosystem that improves daily operations immediately while creating a scalable foundation for future onboarding and training.
- Accelerate new hire readiness and reduce reliance on subject matter experts through well-documented, self-service training materials.
- Support Long-Term Workforce Planning
· Scope of Role Responsibilities
- Develop lean, modular learning assets (microlearning videos, AI-generated walkthroughs, quick-reference guides, and lightweight self-paced materials), ensuring training materials remain lightweight and easy to maintain.
- Produce high-quality documentation artifacts (process maps, SOPs, system walkthroughs, and job aids) with a focus on clarity, version control, and long-term maintainability.
- Navigate the full course design cycle from needs and gap analysis through course validation and evaluation.
- Create tool walk-throughs, system overviews, job aids, videos, centralized Training landing pages and a curated resource hub.
- Facilitate pilots and gather feedback.
- Create KPI and success metrics.
- Incorporate data-driven improvements.
· Required Skills
- Advanced curriculum development and strong documentation skills, including the ability to structure complex processes into straightforward, scalable, and user-friendly knowledge artifacts.
-Instructional design experience in building onboarding and training courses.
- Ability to synthesize complex marketing processes.
- Familiarity with: AEM, staff base (email), eLearning Tools (Storyline and Rise), multimedia design (Adobe Suite), and LMS Platforms (preferred in Oracle HCM).
