Pay Range

The pay range for this position is between $80,000.00 – $100,000.00.

Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Temco Logistics offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits, which may include a performance-based bonus program or a profit sharing program depending on position.

Location: Remote, with preference for candidates in the Atlanta area
Travel: 5% to 20%

Position Summary

Temco Logistics is seeking an Instructional Designer to create and enhance leadership development programs. This role will design engaging learning solutions across instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, eLearning, self-guided, and blended formats while supporting curriculum development, facilitation, and ongoing program improvement. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director of Leadership Development to create learning solutions aligned with business objectives and audience needs.
  • Design, revise, maintain, and deliver effective leadership development resources.
  • Apply instructional design methodology and adult learning principles throughout program development.
  • Develop instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, eLearning, self-guided, and blended learning programs.
  • Support facilitation design, development, and delivery.
  • Recommend appropriate learning solutions based on program needs.
  • Contribute to development standards, processes, and templates that support consistent instructional materials. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • At least two years of recent instructional design experience.
  • Experience with industry-standard authoring tools such as Articulate or Captivate.
  • Experience designing virtual learning through platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, leadership development curriculum, blended learning, and the ADDIE process.
  • Project management and facilitation experience

Salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; FT hourly will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; (for positions in Washington State, Spokane, and Tacoma only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; (for positions in Seattle only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater.
