Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to support the creation of high-quality training solutions for a federal program. This role is fully remote, and the Instructional Designer will contribute to the development of instructor-led, digital, and performance support materials under the guidance of senior instructional staff and project managers.

Responsibilities of the Instructional Designer:
·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including instructional designers, developers, media experts, and subject matter specialists—to design and produce effective learning experiences

·       Assist in the development of training content across various formats, including classroom instruction, eLearning modules, and job aids

·       Participate in visual design, prototyping, and usability testing to enhance learner engagement and accessibility

·       Apply instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE and Agile to support course development

·       Ensure instructional materials meet quality standards, follow established style guides, and maintain logical course flow

·       Develop SCORM-compliant and Section 508-accessible eLearning content

Qualifications of the Instructional Designer:

·       5+ years of experience working in instructional design, with a focus on adult learning and eLearning development

·       Experience designing interactive media elements at advanced IMI Level 2 and basic IMI Level 3

·       Proficient in Adobe Captivate and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·       Experience supporting federal programs (prior experience with U.S. Navy or military training programs is a strong preference)

·       Knowledge of LOM (Learning Objective Module) system

·       Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI clearance

·       Bachelor’s degree in related field
