Principal Purpose of Position:
- Responsible for design and development of onboarding and training curricula, programs, and materials, that position employees for optimal performance.
- Creates thorough design documents for classroom, self-paced and blended learning including measurable learning objectives, instructional activities, and other learning tools and resources.
- Performs training needs analysis. Gathers information about needs by collecting data about the learners and/or organizational performance requirements.
- Uses a variety of techniques for determining the instructional content of courses, curricula and programs incorporating sound principles of adult learning theory, ensuring that program design accommodates different learning styles.
- Uses a variety of learning technologies and instructional methods to achieve desired learning outcomes, and evaluates impact of learning solutions
- Develop instructional materials/assets which may include participant guides, instructor guides, presentations, skills assessments, job aids, or in-tool learning support.
- Works collaboratively with trainers to identify opportunities and knowledge gaps in new hire onboarding and rep performance and provides recommendations to best address those needs.
- Demonstrates ownership of assigned content development, applying a project management mindset to setting and enforcing touchpoints and deadlines. Effectively uses team project management tools. Follow up with identified stakeholders to ensure timely completion of associated deliverables.
- Applies branding and style guidelines along with best practices to deliver the right content in the right format; supports continuous improvement for ongoing refinement.
- Exhibits consistent quality of work, including clear, concise and grammatically correct writing.
- Works collaboratively within Content team for consistency and efficiency in messaging and knowledgebase management.
- Remains current on developments in training and instructional design methodologies including technology enhancements and attends periodic seminars, forums, and meetings to ensure currency of education.
- Demonstrates ongoing proficiency in subject matter knowledge including Holman Enterprises and Fleet Management, products and services, technology advancements, as well as industry and competitive differentiation.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education and/or Training:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, Journalism, Communications, Training
- Master's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Human Performance Technology, or related field preferred
Relevant Work Experience:
- 1-5 years' experience designing and developing learning courses and programs required.
- 1-3 years' experience in customer service or training & facilitation required.
- Proficiency with Articulate 360, Rise, Camtasia or other design software strongly desired.
- Possess knowledge and experience in instructional design. Relevant certifications preferred.
- Possess strengths and experience in presenting and/or training small to large size groups, or proven success in designing programs for training facilitation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Exceptional writing & communication skills
- Experience with video editing a plus.

Regular Full-Time

Temporary or Part-Time
In geographic areas with statutory paid sick leave, part-time and temporary employees will receive a paid sick leave benefit that meets the mandated requirements.
Pay:We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $56,400.00 - $81,775.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
