The Instructional Designer is a strategic partner in driving Team Member development and organizational transformation. This role designs, develops, and delivers high-quality learning experiences that foster growth, ensure compliance, and elevate performance across the organization. Leveraging expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design, the Instructional Designer creates engaging content across multiple modalities—including in-person training, virtual classrooms, and eLearning. In addition to core learning responsibilities, this role plays a vital part in change management efforts, helping teams navigate and adopt new systems, processes, and behaviors. By aligning learning solutions with organizational change initiatives, the Instructional Designer ensures that training not only informs but empowers Team Members to embrace change confidently and effectively.

Essential Duties
Design and develop engaging, learner-centered training across in-person, virtual, and eLearning formats.
Create curriculum, facilitator guides, job aids, and assessments using instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
Leverage authoring tools (e.g., Storyline, Rise, Camtasia) and LMS capabilities to build interactive learning experiences.
Align training solutions with organizational change initiatives to support adoption of new systems, processes, and behaviors.
Partner with SMEs, leaders, and stakeholders to assess learning needs and define objectives.
Recommend instructional strategies that support performance goals and change readiness.
Support the rollout of learning programs, including facilitation pilots and coaching trainers.
Contribute to enterprise-wide learning and communication efforts that reinforce cultural and operational transformation.
Measure training effectiveness using Kirkpatrick/Phillips models.
Analyze feedback and learning data to refine content and delivery.
Stay current with trends in adult learning, instructional technology, and change management best practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
While this role does not currently include direct supervision, the Instructional Designer may be called upon to mentor others or lead project contributors as the team grows.

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to Members and other Team Members at the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute dividends and interest.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
