Title: Instructional Designer – AI Enablement
Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid Onsite Every Tues, Wed, and Every Other Thursday
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM CT
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (50% onsite; Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and 1st & 3rd Thursdays at Willis Tower)
Duration & Type: Initial Contract through December 31, 2026 with potential extension or conversion
Compensation: Competitive W2 hourly rate ($51-53 per hour), plus access to healthcare and dental insurance plans of choice (benefit plan details available upon request)

Chamberlain Advisors is partnering with a leading Fortune 100 organization to identify an experienced Instructional Designer – AI Enablement to support a large-scale enterprise AI transformation initiative. The Instructional Designer will design, develop, and maintain innovative learning solutions supporting enterprise AI initiatives and digital transformation efforts.
This position will join the Global Learning team and play a critical role in developing engaging learning experiences that accelerate AI adoption across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong instructional design expertise with AI fluency, rapid eLearning development skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve quickly.

What You Will Be Accountable For
- Design and develop instructor-led training, virtual learning, eLearning modules, video-based microlearning, simulations, and blended learning solutions.
- Create engaging learning experiences supporting enterprise AI transformation and AI capability development.
- Develop training focused on Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Cowork, and other emerging AI technologies.
- Partner with IT, HR, Change Management, Communications, and business leaders to identify learning needs and translate business requirements into effective learning solutions.
- Apply instructional systems design (ISD) methodologies and adult learning principles to maximize learner engagement and adoption.
- Create scalable performance support materials including: Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), Job aids, Knowledge articles, Walkthroughs, Process documentation
- Design visually engaging PowerPoint presentations and executive-ready learning materials.
- Develop rapid eLearning content utilizing modern authoring and multimedia tools.
- Produce and edit instructional videos and digital learning assets.
- Support organizational change initiatives by reinforcing new AI-enabled workflows and behaviors.
- Measure learning effectiveness through learner feedback, analytics, and adoption metrics while continuously improving learning solutions.
- Simultaneously manage multiple learning projects while balancing competing priorities and aggressive deadlines.
- Ensure learning content maintains exceptional quality, consistency, branding, and attention to detail.
What Qualifications You Need
- 3+ years of professional instructional design experience.
- Experience designing enterprise learning programs for technology implementations or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong AI fluency with hands-on experience utilizing AI productivity tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft Cowork strongly preferred.
- Experience developing instructor-led and self-paced eLearning programs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience partnering directly with business leaders and subject matter experts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management, organization, and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, changing priorities, and multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Experience supporting enterprise AI enablement initiatives.
- Corporate instructional design experience within a large enterprise environment.
- Experience supporting technology adoption or digital transformation projects.
- Familiarity with change management methodologies.
- Experience working within Agile or phased deployment environments.
- Presentation and facilitation experience.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align learning solutions to organizational objectives.
