We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented Instructional Designer – eLearning Content Development to join our Learning & Development team. In this role, you’ll design engaging, scenario-based eLearning programs focused on food and workforce safety. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts to transform complex regulatory content into practical, interactive training that meets industry standards and resonates with frontline workers and professionals.This position reports directly to the Manager of Course Development.

Role Responsibilities:
- Design and develop SCORM-compliant eLearning courses including storyboards, scripts, assessments, and interactive elements.
- Translate regulatory content (e.g., FSMA, OSHA) into structured, engaging modules in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Manage the full course development lifecycle: needs analysis, instructional design, testing, deployment, and evaluation.
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Kirkpatrick) to enhance learner outcomes.
- Conduct usability testing and revise content based on learner feedback and performance data.
Required Skillset and Experience:
- Experience: 3–5+ years in instructional design or eLearning development, with at least 1–2 years focused on safety or technical training.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience designing eLearning training for regulated industries such as food production, lab safety, HAZMAT, or FDA-regulated environments.).
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage timelines, revisions, and cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced environments.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
