Job Description
Develops and maintains course schedule, curricula and supporting training materials for assigned application(s) and delivers training to end users. Configures, tests, and maintains the training environment. Analyzes, configures, develops, tests, implements, supports, and maintains assigned application(s) to meet operational and technical requirements.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Minimum: Bachelor's degree. The equivalent of 8 years of progressively responsible work experience with an emphasis in education, instructional design and/or clinical computer applications, or a combination of education and experience may be substituted for a degree. Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or a combination of Associate's degree in Nursing and experience, is required for the Clin Doc and Optime Instructional Designer.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Minimum: If assigned as the primary Instructional Designer for any Epic Application, Epic Certification is required within 3 months of training completion. Must complete internal credentialing process to train any application. Vendorspecific training or certification may be required depending on applications and projects assigned.
Preferred: ITIL Foundation Certification. Certification/licensure in related clinical, business, or information systems field.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum: Knowledge of web based learning, instructional design models with the ability to design print materials conductive to disparate learning styles. Ability to use audiovisual equipment and apply the use of multimedia in presentations. Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Captivate, SnagIT, Microsoft office tools. Proven skills as an instructor/presenter and group facilitator, team player and leader skilled in group facilitation.
YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum: 3 years of adult education, corporate training or k12 through postsecondary education teaching experience, or experience in IT or a clinical/business area related to the assigned application.
Preferred: 5 year of adult education, corporate training or k12 through postsecondary education teaching experience, or experience in a clinical or business area related to the CottageOne application they will certify in; this must include 2 years of education/training responsibilities. Experience with computer applications in healthcare. Experience developing instructional curriculum.
