Position Overview: 
We are seeking a skilled Instructional Multimedia Designer 2 to support the development of interactive training content and instructional media products for the FMS ASRR Aerostat system. The ideal candidate will design and produce multimedia (Ex: PDFs, videos, infographics, PowerPoints, narration, animation) training assets, integrate them into Training Support Packages (TSPs), and ensure alignment with U.S. Army TRADOC standards and other contract requirements. 

This role supports operator and maintainer courseware, Train-the-Trainer materials, and digital deliverables, and will involve collaboration with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and Polish Armed Forces end users. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and integrate multimedia assets (2D/3D graphics, video, animations, simulations) into lesson plans and interactive courseware
  • Create visuals, diagrams, and training illustrations for Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), presentations, and TSPs using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Complete reviews and quality assurance checks of all multimedia materials prior to final sign off.

  • Participate in reviews and revisions of content to meet Government feedback and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, managing multiple projects at different points in their lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with training SMEs, engineers, and instructional staff to convert technical data into engaging, learner-friendly formats
  • Provide multimedia and courseware updates during deployment training events in both CONUS and OCONUS locations

Required Qualifications: 
  • Requires experience in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Educational Technologies or related fields
  • 3–5 years of experience in instructional media development or e-learning design
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, Acrobat) and Microsoft 365 including Teams and SharePoint 
  • Design and assist in the development of Adobe Captivate-based e-learning content to supplement classroom and field instruction
  • Experience developing DoD or military courseware in alignment with TRADOC standards (350-70-1/2/3/4/5)
  • Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI, HTML5, or video/audio production workflows
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the United States with potential travel outside of the United States to Europe for content validation, stakeholder briefings, and on-site support
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Experience supporting FMS or NATO training programs
  • Familiarity with S1000D or MIL-STD-40051 technical publications
  • Background in defense-related ISR, aviation, or aerostat systems
  • Polish language proficiency or prior experience working with international military audiences
