Purpose:
In the pursuit of student academic success, Product & Technology (P&T) Instructional Partners collaborate with Connections Academy school teams to identify and prioritize problems-to-be-solved and work to provide solutions for these needs based on deep understanding of their specific curriculum, instruction, and technology landscape via the optimal implementation of existing products and tools.

Reporting to the Director of Instructional Partners, the IP establishes and maintains relationships with key staff at assigned schools and leads the analysis of school needs and the development of key supports as defined in partnership with school staff to improve academic outcomes of students and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet regularly and consistently with school teams (including teachers, counselors, and others) to collaboratively engage in the design thinking process, address challenges and develop innovative strategies related to curriculum, instruction, and technology
  • Serve as domain expert to map school profile and framework with curriculum, instruction, and technology tools and resources​
  • Maintain a log of challenges and opportunities to problem solve and measure impact, deliver short-term solutions, and inform long-term roadmap planning​
  • Understand and incorporate the Dynamic School Model of evidence-based practices and connect curriculum and technology tools in pursuit of school and student performance ​
  • Establish and maintain the P&T partnership between PVS and schools ​
  • Serve as a customer voice on the P&T team in all phases of work: reviewing, planning, implementation, release, evaluation​
  • Define, prioritize, and facilitate completion of school-specific needs, including course customizations and supporting curriculum resources
  • Facilitate Product and Curriculum review process of legislation that potentially impacts curriculum​

  • Collaborate with other school support staff at PVS and consult on ways to support schools with academic outcomes
  • Provide curriculum, instruction, and technology strategies to best support the school’s School Improvement Plan outcomes

Key Relationships:
  • Collaborate closely with the P&T Instructional Partners, colleagues in Product, Curriculum, and Technology, as well as other roles at PVS supporting school partners
  • Work closely with school staff to support the implementation of products and technology tools

Training & Competencies:
  • Must be a critical and “out-of-the-box” thinker and problem solver

Experience & Competencies:
  • Master’s degree in Education or related field is desired
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in instructional support or related experience in the US K-12 education space
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the US K-12 education space, with at least 3 years in virtual learning preferred
  • Thorough understanding of K-12 academic standards and requirements, and their application in public institutions
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines while producing highly accurate, accountable work; very detail-oriented
  • Advanced knowledge of education management systems, learning management systems, and/or content management systems
  • Technologically proficient with Microsoft® Office, Azure Dev Ops, Google Suite, Adobe, and ability to learn other software programs and technology platforms quickly
  • Must enjoy a challenging work environment that requires flexibility, self-direction, creativity, strong communication, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York Stat,e and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:

Minimum full-time salary range is between $125k - $130k annually.
