The Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a motivated individual to join the Veterinary Education Support Team. This team, comprised of learning specialists, educational technology specialists, and instructional designers, works closely with the Office of Student Success to support veterinary students and instructors. This role is perfect for someone interested in educational technology while supporting the efforts of students and faculty across the college. The successful candidate in this role will become proficient in the various technologies used to deliver the curricula at the College, including the learning management system (Brightspace), as well as exam software, video/lecture capture software, and others. To assist faculty, staff, and students in navigating these technologies, the candidate will assist in developing training materials and help maintain the Veterinary Education Support Team website. The candidate may also assist with exam proctoring as needed.

The salary for this position will start around $53,000 per year, plus benefits.

Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Background in education or a related field 
 
Skills needed:
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to interact with faculty, staff, and students
  • Ability to work with and navigate a Learning Management System
  • Comfort working across multiple software platforms
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools and templates
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team
 
What is helpful:
