General Position Execution Expectations:
Use established instructional design principles to design and develop instructional content for both instructor-led and interactive multi-media web-based training. Responsibilities may include job task analysis, establishing clearly defined learning outcomes and performance objectives, developing lesson plans, storyboards and instructional video scripts as well as assessment items.
Assess training projects to determine if they meet established criteria for being instructionally sound and technically accurate.
Design and implement synchronous and asynchronous courses up to level three interactivity, in accordance with current multimedia e-learning industry standards.
Create comprehensive written tests that link directly to learning objectives and assess the learners specific knowledge required to perform a particular job duty.
Create performance tests that link directly to learning objectives and require learners to perform a task instead of selecting an answer from a list.
Work with instructional designers and subject matter experts to design and develop training scenarios and simulations.
Work directly with multiple stakeholders to manage and align objectives, promote collaboration, and facilitate course development and deployment.
Develop and modify learning products, to include presentation slides, instructor and student guides, quick reference materials, checklists, tutorials, interactive exercises, and instructional videos.
Develop multiple instructional products simultaneously and work independently or in a team.
Qualifications
- Position is remote, however, selected candidate preferably will reside in the Oklahoma City area.
- Must be a US Citizen and pass a background investigation for a position of Public Trust.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Systems Design or related discipline (such as English or Education) from an accredited college or university.
Ten (10) years or more of instructional design experience to include the application of Instructional Systems Design, execution of job task analyses, design and development of training curricula, course materials, assessments, training evaluation systems and instruments.
Possess proficiency with Articulate Storyline360.
Experience implementing training on Blackboard and SuccessFactors LMS preferred.
Experience applying FAA Safety and Technical Training (AJI) requirements to training projects is preferred.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
