Remote Status: Remote

C2 seeks an Instructional Systems Designer with a cutting edge learning development company that offers the opportunity to create innovative learning solutions for the private and public sectors. We work across modalities (eLearning, ILT, VILT, Mobile, Workbooks, videos and blended solutions; simulations, Augmented/Virtual/extended Reality); Responsible for consulting with subject experts to determine the efficiency of their course designs, transferring courses into online formats and creating innovative learning solutions.

Summary
An Instructional Designer or Developer is responsible for using computer software and other technologies to streamline education courses for students and professionals. Their duties include consulting with subject experts to determine the efficiency of their course designs, transferring courses into online formats and creating course manuals for Teachers or professionals to use. Requirements
To be considered for this role candidate must possess:Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Educational Technology or related fieldThree (3) to five (5) years of progressive and related experience in instructional design, online learning, gaming, simulations, L&D including end to end design and developmentWell versed in all phases of learning methodologies such as ADDIE, SAM, Agile etc.Subject matter expertise in adult learning principals, learning methodologies and instructional design best practices in all modalities and testing/assessment designStrong eLearning and design creativity; ability to ideate and innovate scenario-based learning / storytelling / creative writing skillsA strong leader with an eye towards process as well as an ability to ideate and innovateAbility to effectively manage projects and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Tools: MS Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Storyline and RISE are a bonusExperience with learning authoring tools: Articulate preferred.Experience with learning management systems (LMS);Excellent project management and organizational skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and clientsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and simultaneous deadlinesAbility to get security clearance (prior DHS suitability clearance preferred)All job requirements are subject to possible revision to reflect changes in the position requirements or to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.
