POSITION SPECIFICS
We are looking for a talented and driven Informatica Developer (IICS) to design, develop, test, debug, implement, enhance, and support integrations for our enterprise constituent relationship management (ECRM) program. We are seeking passionate applicants to work with us to change the way data is captured, accessed, and processed, to make data-driven insightful decisions. The position will be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirements elicitation, design, coding, testing, and delivery. This position will deliver high-quality code, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and operations. RESPONSIBILITIES
Integration Development
  • Design, develop, modify, and implement data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to facilitate directional and bi-directional data flows between source systems (e.g., ERPs - SIMBA, LionPATH, Workday) and Salesforce (Education Cloud and Service Cloud).
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, mappings, transformations, and workflows.
  • Maintain and ensure integrity of all connected data sources and storage environments.
  • Coordinate and develop all ETL (extract, transform, load) processes to support system interoperability and data consistency.
Data Mapping & Transformation
  • Define and document data mapping requirements and logic to transform data formats and structures between systems.
  • Work with business analysts to interpret business requirements and translate them into integration logic.
  • Analyze functional requirements to support the design, coding, testing, and deployment of data and application integrations across Informatica Orgs.
API & Web Services Integration
  • Leverage Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming) and external APIs to enable real-time and batch integrations.
  • Ensure secure, scalable, and performant API integrations between platforms.
Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Prepare and execute test plans to validate that integrations meet business, functional, and performance requirements.
  • Conduct technical walkthroughs and peer reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, and maintainability.
  • Identify and resolve integration defects and data quality issues in collaboration with partner teams.
Performance Monitoring & Incident Resolution
  • Monitor daily integration processes and troubleshoot issues to ensure high data quality and reliability.
  • Optimize performance of integrations and resolve bottlenecks or data latency concerns.
  • Communicate and escalate system degradations, outages, or critical incidents to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
Data Governance & Security
  • Partner with the ECRM, IT Security, and Governance teams to ensure integrations comply with university policies and regulations related to data security, privacy, and compliance (e.g., FERPA).
  • Adhere to institutional standards, best practices, accessibility requirements, and coding/security guidelines.
Collaboration & Documentation
  • Collaborate with ECRM, functional, and IT teams to align on requirements, configurations, and change management processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for integration designs, data mappings, technical configurations, and support procedures.
  • Participate in project planning and estimation activities to ensure integrations are delivered within defined scope, timelines, and quality expectations.
Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Provide production support for existing integrations, identify opportunities for automation or enhancement, and implement changes as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to integration standards and best practices.
  • Identify innovative solutions and process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness across the integration environment.

  • Experience designing and development with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
  • Experience collaborating effectively with team members and partners in a project environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to successfully articulate technology concepts to both business and technology audience.
  • Experience with data and application integrations.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong software and system architecture skills.
  • Strong business analysis skills.
  • Create REST API's using Informatica IICS for real-time application integrations.
  • Relational databases and non-relational data sources (MSSQL, Oracle, and flat files).
