Location: Field Intervention Specialist (Candidates must be based in Texas) 
 
What you’ll do: 
The objective of the Intervention Specialist is to increase HMH bookings with a specific focus on growing the revenue for the Intervention Line of Business and associated Services. 
 
Job Responsibilities: 
  • Partner and collaborate with the Segment Director, Regional Vice President, and Area Sales Director/s to support Account Executives in driving intervention sales growth in the assigned territory to achieve defined revenue targets.
  • Partner and collaborate with the Segment Director, Area Sales Director/s, and Account Executives to develop and implement strategic plans to build the intervention pipeline through the expansion of existing accounts and the identification of new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Intervention Segment Director and other Intervention Specialists to develop regional and state strategies, sales campaigns and events.
  • Partner with Segment Directors to assist and/or initiate account analysis/strategy.
  • Support Intervention proposal development and negotiations to increase win rates and optimize deal value.
  • As the subject matter expert, model Intervention sales best practices by:
    • Attending, participating, and/or leading customer meetings.
    • Modeling questioning strategies and positioning for intervention programs and services.
    • Presenting and/or demoing the intervention solutions and professional learning services.
    • Delivering and/or assisting with the delivery of data meetings.
    • Providing 1-1 coaching support.
  • Participate in ad-hoc focus groups to provide product development/marketing input.
  • Communicate with regional and national team members in a timely manner. 

What you’ll need:
  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree.
  • 3-5 years sales experience with a proven track record in meeting quota.
  • Educational sales experience and teaching skills are desirable.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Sales Management Software.
  • Acceptable driving record required.
  • Position requires 80%-90% travel.

Salary Range: $90K - $100K
