Math and Reading Intervention Teacher

Part-Time | Osceola County, FL
Position is for the 2026-2027 school year. Part-time (12 hours per week). Grades K-5. Schedule is Monday through Thursday between 8:30 and 1:30p. Services three schools in Kissimmee, FL 34744 (within 10 miles). Pay is $27 per hour.

Responsibilities
As an Intervention Teacher with Catapult Learning, you will:
- Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention.
- Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills through company-designed materials and educational strategies.
- Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
- Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations.
- Perform data entry in a timely fashion (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).
- Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
- Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
- Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
- Differentiate instruction, engage students, grow professionally, and track progress with accurate academic records.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Valid and current FL Teaching Certificate.
- Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
- Willingness and ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels.
- Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
