The Inventory and Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all inventory-related processes across third-party logistics (3PL) providers and internal systems. This role serves as a liaison between Inventory Management, Supply Chain, and Finance, ensuring that inventory records are complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements. Beyond financial reconciliation, the Analyst proactively monitors inventory, coordinates logistics data integration, and identifies opportunities to optimize stock levels and supply chain efficiency.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Enhance oversight of inventory management activities across multiple 3PL warehouses.
  • Proactively identify and resolve systematic synchronization errors between Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and NetSuite to ensure a single source of truth for all inventory transactions and stock levels.
  • Monitor controls to ensure accurate recording of receipts, transfers, shipments, and adjustments.
  • Coordinate and observe physical inventory counts and cycle counts, including variance investigation and resolution.
  • Support and maintain oversight of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and outside audit requirements for inventory processes.
  • Facilitate communication between the Director and cross-functional stakeholders, such as external auditors and finance, during inventory migrations, transfers, and year-end audits.
  • Analyze root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective action plans.
  • Provide analytical support metrics on inventory accuracy, shrinkage, excess, and reconciliation results.
  • Create and manage communication bridges between manufacturing, demand planning, and finance to reduce operational silos.
  • Proactively investigate and resolve complex inventory variances involving assembly builds, unbuilds, and multi-location transfers.
  • Proficiency in leveraging Google Apps Script and AI-driven platforms (e.g., Gemini or Claude) to automate administrative workflows, interpret complex data sets, and enhance overall process efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control, internal audit, or supply chain operations (experience with 3PL environments strongly preferred).
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite (or similar ERP system) and warehouse management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Advanced-level Excel skills (pivot tables, variance analysis, and complex reconciliations).
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor reconciliation and technical troubleshooting of inventory discrepancies.
  • An automation-first mindset, with a proven ability to use Power Query to replace manual checklists with scalable reporting solutions.
  • Comfort with data ambiguity—the ability to synthesize information and provide actionable recommendations even with incomplete data sets.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Google Script, Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, Snowflake or other analytics platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma), quality assurance practices, and project / change management frameworks.
  • APICS CPIM or other relevant supply chain/logistics certifications.
