Position Summary 
The IT Project Manager leads and implements projects within the PMO that are focused on technology, applications, business process and business change management. The IT Project Manager helps the university meet business needs and objectives in support of SMART goals. This role works collaboratively with other areas of central IT, as well as other functional areas, such as HR, Finance, Provost Office etc. In addition, this role helps to develop business requirements, identify solutions, create and maintain project plans and schedules throughout project lifecycle. The IT Project Manager is responsible for managing 3-4 projects at a time, depending on size and complexity. 

Qualifications 
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
5+ years of project management or consulting experience.

Preferred Experience:
7+ years of experience managing projects in a Project Management Office or in a consulting role.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Project management skills with advanced systems. Ability to effectively convey information to others. Project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
An ability to manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. A demonstrated ability to monitor or track project milestones and deliverables. An ability to develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of information technology projects. Proven ability to submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Skilled at preparing project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. An ability to schedule and facilitate meetings related to information technology projects. Proven ability to Initiate, review, or approve modifications to project plans.

Additional Information 
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $110,000.00 to USD $160,000.00.
