Job Summary
IT Software Engineers

Working with a Scrum team composed of individuals of varying backgrounds (UX designers, Developers, Quality Assurance, and Business Analysts), as part of a team to develop or maintain PeopleSoft and some enterprise web applications. The successful SDE will have the ability to work on small to large projects from troubleshooting, analysis development, testing, QA, and delivery. The primary duty will be in the area of PeopleSoft (App Designer, SQL, SQR) but the Engineer may require working with team members with different backgrounds to help them complete tasks outside of your area of expertise. Actively participates in the application fix and software upgrade processes.

The department may choose to hire at any of the below job levels and associated pay rates based on their business need and budget.

May specialize in one or more areas of development, including network, operating systems, databases, or applications. Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter. May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
