About this Opportunity:
As an IT Technical Training Manager, you will deliver training programs on Microsoft Suite (Office 365, Teams, SharePoint), Atlassian tools (Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, Atlas), Lucidchart, and other organizational applications. The ideal candidate will also lead workgroup sessions, conduct focus groups, assist with migration training, and champion a culture of continual improvement in the adoption and use of these tools. Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE.

In this role, you’ll get to:
  • Conduct individual and team skills gap analyses to identify training needs
  • Develop and deliver technical training courses for various levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) engaging training on Microsoft Suite (Office 365, Teams, SharePoint), Atlassian tools (Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, Atlas), Lucidchart, and other relevant organizational applications
  • Ensure all new hires undergo basic technical training (e.g., on computer setup and security guidelines)
  • Organize workshops and classroom-style trainings
  • Schedule and manage in-house educational sessions as well as using e-learning platforms
  • Measure improvements in employees’ job performance at the end of each course
  • Gather feedback from trainees and instructors to recommend improvements to the learning process
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training for employees at all skill levels, tailoring content to specific roles and workflows
  • Lead collaborative workgroup sessions to understand employees’ daily workflows and identify areas where tools can improve productivity
  • Partner with teams to address operational challenges and recommend tailored solutions
  • Assist with migration training initiatives, ensuring employees are supported during transitions to new systems or upgraded tools
  • Provide clear, step-by-step guidance to ensure a smooth adoption process
  • Conduct focus groups to collect feedback on tool usage, pain points, and best practices
  • Share and implement industry-leading best practices to maximize tool efficiency and collaboration
  • Design and maintain comprehensive training resources, including guides, video tutorials, workflows, and FAQs
  • Customize materials to align with team-specific needs and organizational goals
  • Continuously assess training effectiveness and gather feedback to refine programs and materials
  • Stay updated on the latest features and best practices for Microsoft Suite, Atlassian tools, Lucidchart, and related applications
  • Work closely with the Information Services Team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Provide ongoing support to employees, addressing technical challenges and encouraging the effective use of tools
  • Serve as a point of contact for troubleshooting and advanced user queries
  • Partner with the Information Services Team and ITOC PMO to understand tool rollouts, updates, and system configurations
  • Collaborate with IT support teams to identify recurring user challenges and recommend long-term solutions
  • Maintain detailed records of training sessions, focus group feedback, and workgroup findings
  • Prepare reports on training outcomes, user adoption rates, and recommendations for improvement

We’re looking for talent who:
  • Has advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Atlassian tools (Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, Atlas)
  • Has proficiency with Microsoft Teams and its integrations (e.g., SharePoint, Power Automate, Planner)
  • Has familiarity with Lucidchart and similar visualization tools
  • Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Manages multiple projects and meets deadlines
  • Has proficiency in using e-learning software and tools
  • Has excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Works collaboratively with different teams and departments
  • Has proven ability to lead workgroup sessions and assist with system migrations
  • Has proven work experience as a Technical Training Manager, Technical Trainer, or similar role
  • Has experience developing technical course content for both novices and experts
  • Has knowledge of web-based learning platforms and modern educational techniques
  • Has excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms in simple language
  • Has a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Has a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Education, or a related field (equivalent work experience is also considered)
  • Preferably has a training certification (e.g., Certified Technical Trainer)
  • Obtains Orion Industry Certification
  • Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and works effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:$63,899.00 - $95,151.00

The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
