This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic analytics team focused on cybersecurity and security operations. The Junior Data Analyst will support the development and administration of analytical products, reporting metrics, and security controls to drive informed decision-making. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to learn while contributing to the development of security analytics processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on experience in data management, analysis, and automation initiatives in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Accountabilities

  • Support the creation, update, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and system documentation related to analytical products and reporting packages.
  • Organize and maintain a comprehensive Metrics & Reporting inventory.
  • Ensure successful delivery of metrics and reporting projects on time and to quality standards.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategy, decision-making, and security initiatives.
  • Assist with automation maturity efforts and research security platform systems and processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on internal policies, procedures, and analytics practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed established goals, including scheduling and facilitating meetings as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED with 2+ years of administrative support experience, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R Studio, and SQL.
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain risks, analysis, and technical concepts clearly.
