Highlights
  • Administer daily effort reporting and certification processes to ensure federal compliance.
  • Provide expert customer service, training, and mentorship to Central Effort Administration team members.
  • Operate and manage the Effort Certification and Reporting Technology (ecrt) system.
  • Review and approve electronic Payroll Action Request (ePAR) and Payroll Accounting Adjustment Tool (PAAT) transactions in ConnectCarolina related to sponsored projects.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for complex effort reporting problems and post-certification review.
  • Develop and present solutions for complex payroll and effort reporting issues.
  • Must have strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Required knowledge includes financial systems, accounting principles, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new applications.
  • Preferred qualifications include payroll experience, knowledge of sponsored programs and federal regulations, PeopleSoft experience, and Certified Research Administrator credentials.
  • Compensation range is $70,000 to $75,000 annually.
