Learning Analytics Service Manager Full Description

Position Summary: The Service Manager provides strategic leadership for the university's learning analytics service ecosystem to drive institutional efficiency. This role is responsible for the process, development, and scalability of Learning Analytics service management products that translate complex user needs into seamless technical support. By bridging the gap between technical infrastructure and academic mission, the Service Manager ensures that analytical tools are ethically grounded, sustainable, and aligned with university goals. They serve as a primary consultant to faculty, fostering a service-oriented culture across a global campus.

Qualifications: Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree EdD or PhD desirable.

Required Experience:
5+ years in higher education and related learning and data analytics experience

Preferred Experience:
5+ years Experience leading the management of a portfolio of enterprise applications used to support learning analytics and teaching in a higher education environment. Experience teaching college level courses.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Must include experience using enterprise tools such as ServiceNow and G Suite to inform service design strategy. Experience leading the management of a portfolio of enterprise applications used to support teaching and learning. Knowledge of Higher Education Student Information Systems. Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive, personal, or protected data.

Additional Information: In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $97,000.00 to USD $117,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
