Piper Companies is looking for a Learning and Development Communications Specialist to join a high-impact, growth-oriented learning organization to drive strategic messaging, support executive communications, and create engaging content that supports learning initiatives and leadership visibility. The Learning and Development Communications Specialist is a long term fully remote contract opportunity.

Responsibilities for the Learning and Development Communications Specialist:
  • Craft clear, compelling scripts and communications that support learning programs and leadership engagement
  • Shape and deliver strategic messaging for executive stakeholders and organizational initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align communications with business goals and learning outcomes
  • Develop and manage content across multiple channels to support internal campaigns and training efforts

Qualifications for Learning and Development Communications Specialist:
  • 5+ years of experience in communications, preferably within corporate learning or executive communications
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with experience creating scripts, speeches, and strategic messaging
  • Proven ability to position ideas effectively and tailor messaging for different audiences
  • Experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent storytelling and content development abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field

Compensation/Benefits for Learning and Development Communications Specialist:
  • $50.00 – $55.00 / hour depending on experience and qualifications
