Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Specialist to deliver in-person training for leadership and people skills. The role involves overseeing learning programs, coordinating with specialists at other sites, and creating engaging digital content. You will evaluate program success using data and metrics to inform strategic decisions and align project outcomes with business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person leadership and people skills training.
- Oversee and manage learning programs, coordinating with specialists across various sites.
- Develop engaging eLearning content and manage digital platforms.
- Evaluate the success of learning programs and use data to inform strategic improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project outcomes align with business strategies.
- Facilitate training sessions for a diverse audience, primarily hourly shift workers in a production plant.
- Design effective learning programs and instructional materials.
- Lead strategic thinking to suggest program improvements.
Essential Skills
- 3-5+ years of experience in Learning and Development interventions.
- Project management skills.
- Experience in HR and manufacturing environments.
- Expertise in eLearning design and facilitation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in RISE and Articulate for building digital learning materials.
- Familiarity with Microsoft products.
Work Environment
The position offers a hybrid work environment with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves collaboration with a wide network, primarily engaging with hourly shift workers in a production plant setting. The team includes direct collaboration with one other member.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of South Chesterfield, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $86500.00 - $105000.00/hr.
