Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to the Learning Architect Manager.
 
Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $57,819 and $70,000 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
 
Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.

Envision Your Experience.
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:
  • Review the work of external vendors or independent contractors to ensure adherence to quality and to project specifications; provide feedback. 
  • Analyze standards and other curriculum requirements and contribute to the development of blueprints, scope and sequences, and other project content-planning documents. 
  • Write and edit educational materials (lessons, activities, assignments, assessment items, etc.) for assigned products and content areas. 
  • Communicate and collaborate within and across functional teams, and with vendors and ICs, to manage project and address challenges. Maintain awareness of project status and schedule to ensure pedagogical consistency across work streams. Understand how decisions and changes impact other aspects of development. 
  • Contribute to developing project documentation such as guidelines, training materials, samples, and other materials necessary for assigned projects.  
  • Attend and participate in project meetings, team meetings, department meetings, etc. as required. 
  • Complete a variety of content-creation tasks such as entering content into proprietary tools and templates, selecting and reviewing media assets and graphics for accuracy. 
  • Other duties as required. 
 
Share Your Expertise.
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Instructional Design, or relevant content area required and at least 3 years in educational publishing or educational software development preferred; or an acceptable combination of education and experience. 
  • Strong content knowledge in two or more areas of education studies based on specific needs of position (i.e., social studies, math, etc.). 
  • Teaching experience preferred. 
  • Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills; self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes. 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
