  • This position is primarily remote but may require onsite presence at least quarterly. 

  • JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
    • The Learning Impact and Tech Insights Specialist (Learning Data Insights Specialist) provides advanced technical and operational support for complex system configuration, data analytics, and regulatory readiness. Troubleshoots complex issues and supports Samaritan Health Services’ (SHS) mandatory learning efforts by delivering accurate, timely, and actionable reporting on essential learning, including regulatory, accreditation, and legal requirements. Ensures the integrity, reliability, and usability of learning data, enabling leaders to make informed decisions that support compliance and continuous improvement.

  • Some responsibilities of this position include: 
    • Develops, maintains, and distributes reports that track essential learning progress, including compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and legal requirements
    • Provides day-to-day operational management of learning platforms
    • Provides first-line customer service and technical support for learning platforms and technologies

  • DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    • The Learning & Development department supports the development of necessary skills, knowledge, and competency across the SHS workforce and throughout the healthcare professional’s continuum of learning and development. The department cultivates a dynamic culture of continuous learning and professional growth, empowering SHS learners to deliver exceptional care and services through innovative learning programs and initiatives. 

  • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. A degree in a related field, such as education, data analytics, healthcare administration, or information systems, is preferred.
    • Two (2) years of experience producing data analysis and reporting required, preferably within a healthcare or regulatory environment.
    • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and experience working with multiple data systems required.
    • Experience with LMS or learning-platform reporting and configuration strongly preferred.
    • Experience and/or training in the following preferred:
      • Adult learning theory.
      • Business or learning operations.
      • A healthcare setting.
      • Process documentation and improvement.
      • Automation tools, data analytics, and data management.
      • Learning evaluation frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick).
