The Opportunity
Are you passionate about building impactful learning experiences that help teams thrive? Ulteig is looking for a Learning and Development Coordinator to join our dynamic Human Resources team. In this role, you’ll support the planning, coordination, and execution of professional development initiatives across the organization, with a special focus on engineering, project management, and leadership growth. Your work will empower employees to grow in their roles and contribute to Ulteig’s mission of transforming critical infrastructure across North America.

This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with internal subject matter experts and external training partners, while supporting Ulteig’s continued investment in employee development. What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate logistics and delivery of learning programs, including onboarding, compliance training, technical skills development, and leadership workshops
  • Serve as a learning system administrator, managing content, enrollments, and reporting in Ulteig’s learning management system (LMS) and other learning partner systems such as LinkedIn Learning and DDI user management.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support department-specific training needs across Shared Services, Power, Renewables, Transportation, and Water sectors
  • Maintain training calendars, manage communications, and track participation and completion metrics
  • Assist in the evaluation of training effectiveness through surveys and feedback loops, compiling insights for continuous improvement
  • Support the development and curation of learning resources, including digital learning assets, job aids, and career development tools
  • Coordinate with external vendors and training partners to schedule and deliver specialized courses and certifications
  • Assist with the creation and delivery of internal campaigns that promote a culture of continuous learning

What We Expect from You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a learning and development or HR coordination role; experience in engineering or consulting industries a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Workday Learning, Cornerstone, or similar)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with collaboration tools such as Teams or SharePoint preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service mindset with a collaborative and proactive approach
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $65,300 - $88,300
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
