Noble Corporation is hiring for a Learning & Development Lead in our Houston Office that will be working a hybrid work schedule. The Learning and Development Lead will play a key role in the design, delivery, and execution of leadership and professional development programs across the organization. This role supports the Development Training Manager in implementing strategic initiatives, managing leadership development projects, and contributing to succession planning for key L&D leadership positions. As part of our innovation strategy, the Learning & Development Lead will play a key role in deploying immersive training solutions using META VR headsets across global operations. The individual will be responsible for driving talent development initiatives, ensuring programs are innovative, aligned with industry best practices, and tailored to Noble’s operational needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Design, develop, and implement leadership and professional development programs that inspire growth and support Noble’s strategic goals for Offshore and Onshore.
  • Managing the delivery of high-impact training sessions that meet defined learning objectives and support Noble’s vision and strategy.
  • Design, implement, manage, and evaluate immersive learning experiences using META VR headsets to enhance leadership development and operational training.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate VR content into existing learning platforms and ensure seamless delivery across international sites.
  • Collaborate with external vendors (Rely-On, Maersk, ICM Group, AMA and more) to source and coordinate training solutions that meet Noble’s standards and bring fresh perspectives.
  • Lead and manage leadership development projects from start to finish coordinating rollout with operational & local teams, ensuring timely execution and successful delivery.
  • Stay informed on industry trends (AI, Leadership Development and VR) and continuously integrate best practices to keep our training strategies innovative and effective.
  • Travel to various locations (Houston, Guyana, Brazil, Colombia, Gdansk, Stavanger, Aberdeen and more) to represent Noble L&D, deliver training, and support talent development initiatives that make a real impact.
  • Support multiple departments (Organizational Development, Talent Acquisitions, HSE and Operations) across the organization by tailoring learning solutions to their unique needs.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in training and development, with a strong focus on leadership programs.
  • Proven experience designing or deploying VR-based training programs, preferably using META headsets or similar immersive technologies.
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles for virtual reality environments and user engagement metrics.
  • Experience working with authoring tools (Synthesia, Articulate, etc) is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of hardware setup, user onboarding, and troubleshooting for VR devices in enterprise settings is preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management and coordination of enterprise-level L&D initiatives.
  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining a bias for action to ensure timely execution of initiatives.
  • Previous experience as an instructor and in content development, with a willingness to develop and deliver training classes when/if needed.
  • Strong technological proficiency and ability to leverage modern training delivery tools and platforms for digital learning.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to work with a diverse, global workforce.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to design engaging learning experiences aligned with business needs.
  • Knowledge of gas and energy industry operations is highly desirable.
