The Learning & Development Program Manager is responsible for designing, managing, and delivering impactful learning programs that build skills, knowledge, and performance across the organization. This role partners closely with department leaders to translate business and compliance needs into effective learning solutions delivered through instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning experiences.

In addition to leading instructional design projects from intake through execution, this role serves as the primary owner of the EōS Fitness Learning Management System (LMS) and the keeper of training compliance, ensuring employees remain aligned with state, and employment-related requirements to mitigate organizational risk.

Responsibilities

Learning Strategy & Program Management
• Partner with department leaders and subject matter experts to assess training needs and define learning objectives aligned with business goals
• Lead learning initiatives from concept through launch, including scope, timelines, resources, and stakeholder coordination
• Design and manage learning programs that support onboarding, role readiness, leadership development, compliance, and ongoing upskilling
• Evaluate program effectiveness using data, learner feedback, and performance outcomes to drive continuous improvement

Instructional Design & Content Development
• Design engaging learning experiences using adult learning principles and instructional design best practices
• Develop and curate learning content across multiple modalities, including:
• Instructor-led training (in person and virtual)
• E-learning and microlearning
• Performance support tools such as job aids, guides, playbooks, and videos
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, accessible, and actionable learning content

Learning Management System (LMS) Ownership
• Serve as the primary administrator and product owner for the organization’s LMS
• Manage course creation, enrollments, learning paths, reporting, and system maintenance
• Ensure data integrity, system usability, and a positive end-to-end learner experience
• Partner with HRIS, IT, and external vendors on integrations, enhancements, and system troubleshooting
• Produce dashboards and reports to support learning insights, compliance tracking, and leadership visibility

Compliance & Risk Management
• Act as the keeper of training compliance, ensuring all employees complete required learning in alignment with state, federal, and employment guidelines
• Partner with HR, Legal, Risk, and Operations teams to maintain current and accurate compliance training requirements and content
• Monitor, track, and report on compliance completion and audit readiness using the LMS
• Identify compliance gaps and proactively implement learning solutions to reduce organizational risk

Stakeholder Partnership & Facilitation
• Build strong relationships with leaders and teams across the organization to support learning adoption and effectiveness
• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and learning events as needed (virtual and in person)
• Provide consultation and guidance on learning approaches, content design, and performance support strategies
 
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design or similar role.
• Strong experience designing and deploying training in an LMS environment.
• Knowledge of adult-learning theory, ADDIE or other instructional design models and modern learning methodologies.
• Ability to create engaging digital and in-person learning experiences.
• Strong project-management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends and build reporting that drives action.

Preferred Skills 
• Experience with LMS governance or multi-location enterprise environments. 
• Ability to convert complex processes and technical concepts into simple, clear learning tools. 
• Knowledge of SCORM/AICC, e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Rise, Captivate), and multimedia creation.
 
Salary Pay Range
$95,000 - $95,000 USD
