Learning & Development Quality Assurance Specialist (Contract)

Remote - United States

This position is for contract work. Work will be project-based, with timelines and scope varying depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

Proofread and edit written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style errors, maintaining a high standard of writing quality.
Rewrite content when necessary to improve clarity, coherence, and readability while preserving the original meaning and intent.
Collaborate with Instructional Designers and Developers to maintain consistent writing standards, style guidelines, and tone of voice across all content.
Ensure adherence to editorial guidelines, including citation and referencing standards.
Actively participate in and/or facilitate in-person or virtual meetings as needed to support learning projects
Excellent attention to detail that results in high-quality work
Enthusiasm for the work

Requirements

Exceptional writing and editing skills, including a strong command of grammar and style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago).
Meticulous attention to detail and a critical eye for proofreading.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with content creators.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and writing tools is a plus.
