Job Description
The Learning & Development Senior Consultant I partners with business leaders and stakeholders to design, deliver, and continuously improve learning solutions that support business and enterprise objectives. This role serves as a learning and development subject matter expert, leveraging instructional design, facilitation, coaching, and measurement practices to create impactful learner experiences. The Senior Consultant contributes to large-scale learning initiatives, drives adoption of skills-based development, and uses data-driven insights to enhance learning effectiveness and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with business partners to identify learning needs and develop solutions aligned to organizational priorities and desired performance outcomes.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and continuously improve learning programs, curricula, and performance support resources that address complex business needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for learning offerings, providing recommendations that improve learner engagement, accessibility, and overall effectiveness.
  • Measure and evaluate learning effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative data, translating findings into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in cross-functional and agile project teams, leading workstreams or serving as project lead for assigned initiatives.
  • Ensure learning solutions support enterprise talent strategies, including capability development, career growth, and skills-based workforce initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of business-relevant skills by integrating skills-based learning principles into the design and delivery of programs.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure learning experiences remain customer-centered, scalable, and aligned with evolving business priorities.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design or a related field required.
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Vyond, etc.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position is an individual contributor role and does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
