Position Overview:
As a Learning & Development Specialist, you’ll design, develop, and implement scalable learning solutions that support seamless onboarding, ongoing skill growth, and long‑term career advancement. You’ll take ownership of training delivery—from planning to facilitation—partnering closely with business leaders and cross‐functional teams to assess needs and align learning programs with strategic goals. You will champion continuous improvement and learner experience, working independently within a development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and refine comprehensive onboarding programs that immerse new hires into company culture, essential systems, and role-specific competencies. Regularly update content to reflect organizational changes.
- Identify organizational skill gaps and future workforce needs. Develop tailored learning initiatives, both in-person and digital, aligned to strategic company goals.
- Partner with department leaders and HR Business Partners to conduct training needs analyses. Use findings to customize programs and establish feedback loops that improve content and delivery efficacy Supervise the design and delivery of training programs, workshops, and developmental activities across departments. Ensure all programs are interactive and engaging to maximize retention and application of new knowledge.
- Design and deliver engaging training across modalities (e-learning, instructor-led, virtual). Leverage best practices in adult learning to enhance retention and on-the-job application.
- Collaborate with external providers to source and tailor learning solutions. Administer and enhance the Learning Management System (LMS), maintaining smooth operations and accurate reporting.
- Manage the L&D budget, allocate resources effectively, and negotiate contracts with external training providers. Establish strong relationships with external consultants and vendors to ensure the highest quality learning solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field (Master’s preferred). Professional certifications (e.g., CPLP) are a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years in Learning & Development, with experience in leadership or management roles.
- Demonstrated capability in creating effective onboarding and development programs across diverse and international environments.
- Strong knowledge of onboarding, training processes, learning platforms, career development frameworks.
- Experienced in LMS management, vendor coordination, and basic budget oversight for programmatic needs (not at a departmental budget scale).
- Strong communication, facilitation, project management, and analytical skills—able to work independently and consult with senior stakeholders.
- Experience working in international and multicultural environment.
- Experience collaborating with, and training individuals, where English is not their primary language
