Here's the Role: 
Ready to take your L&D career to the next level? As an intermediate Learning & Development Specialist, you’ll design and launch exciting enhancements to LCRA’s learning programs, directly boosting employee engagement and organizational success. You’ll team up with business leaders and L&D pros to create and deliver high-impact learning, development, and mentorship solutions.

This is the perfect role to apply your expertise while gaining new, high-level skills in a supportive environment. You’ll have the autonomy to make an impact while receiving steady guidance and mentorship from your supervisor and seasoned colleagues to help you grow. 

How You’ll Contribute: 
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging employee, leadership, and compliance training using standard processes and diverse delivery methods such as classroom, web-based, and blended learning.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and management to align learning initiatives with company-wide strategies and build stronger work teams in assigned areas.
  • Provide managers with tailored recommendations for specific team and individual needs to ensure learning solutions remain relevant across various work environments.
  • Manage diverse day-to-day L&D activities and use Learning Management Systems (LMS) to efficiently administer training programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate training programs to ensure maximum effectiveness, while also creating and promoting comprehensive mentorship solutions.
  • Assist in establishing and managing the L&D program budget and coordinating with external vendors who deliver training on behalf of the organization.

 How You’re Qualified: 
  • Six or more years of experience in companywide and/or operational training and development programs or other relevant experience.
  • A degree(s) in human resource management, business administration, or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
  • Driver's license
