As a Learning Experience Designer, you will shape how employees learn complex systems, tools, and processes, helping them build confidence and capability through clear, engaging, and effective training. This role blends science-informed learning design with hands-on delivery to create measurable impact at scale.
 
What You'll Do
  • Design and deliver engaging, outcome focused learning experiences for corporate and technical training initiatives
  • Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to research learner needs and translate complex systems and processes into clear, actionable learning
  • Apply adult learning principles and science informed design strategies to create effective asynchronous and instructor led experiences
  • Conduct user research including interviews, surveys, and usability testing to inform and iterate designs
  • Storyboard and prototype learning interactions and refine them based on feedback and effectiveness metrics
  • Collaborate with cross functional, agile teams including developers, media specialists, writers, and trainers to ensure technical feasibility and quality
  • Present and deliver training to large audiences and support system related learning needs, including being on call for LMS outages as required

What You'll Bring
  • Experience applying instructional and learning experience design strategies such as ADDIE, and SAM, informed by learning science and learner needs. 
  • Experience designing and implementing learning experiences or eLearning from ideation through launch and analysis
  • Understanding of adult learners and the ability to design for both cognitive and non-cognitive learning outcomes
  • Basic to intermediate project management skills with hands-on ownership of timelines, scope, and quality in an agile environment
  • Experience with change management and change enablement in a corporate or technical setting
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with design and authoring tools such as Illustrator, Articulate Rise, Storyline, Vyond, and using ServiceNow, some HTML to create learning assets

Bonus Points
  • Experience designing tech heavy training that walks learners through system steps and operational processes
  • Experience creating and maintaining knowledge base or process documentation
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to validate learning effectiveness and drive continuous improvement

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience designing learning or product-related content using a user-centered design approach
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating learning product design such as websites, videos, presentations, or courses

Experience in Lieu of Education
Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this role may substitute for education requirements. Generally, one year of experience may be considered equivalent to one year of education at the discretion of the hiring manager.
