The Learning Facilitation Professional 1 conducts or facilitates training courses for organization employees or external audiences. The Learning Facilitation Professional 1 work assignments are often straightforward and of moderate complexity.
The Learning Facilitation Professional 1 plans, coordinates, and implements all aspects of training programs for participants throughout the organization, including but not limited to instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training, field training and contract requirement re-education. Creates an environment that is conducive to learning and exchanging information, engages the learner, and produces the desired outcomes. Monitors training personnel records to ensure that employees have met all company training requirements for company, quality, and regulatory compliance. Analyzes course evaluations in order to judge effectiveness of training sessions and to implement suggestions for improvements. Evaluates the relevance of online resources to complement the facilitated experience in the field as appropriate. Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards. Ability to make decisions regarding own work approach/priorities and follow direction. Facilitation work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.
  • Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts and department leaders to identify training needs and develop relevant content.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with best practices in adult learning and instructional design; proactively recommend new training technologies and methods.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present training metrics and outcomes to management for strategic decision-making.

  • Mentorship: Serve as a mentor or coach to new facilitators and support their professional development.

  • Customization: Adapt training materials to address the diverse learning styles and needs of participants.

  • Compliance: Ensure all training activities adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Feedback: Facilitate post-training feedback sessions to assess participant understanding and address knowledge gaps.

  • Technology Integration: Leverage learning management systems and digital tools to enhance delivery and tracking of training programs.

**Please note that field work is a mandatory requirement for this position. **   Applicants should reside or be able to commute within surrounding cities, Ft. Myers, Hendry County, Lehigh Acres.  All candidates must be willing and able to perform duties in the field as part of their regular responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of training or learning development experience
  • At least 1 or more years of experience with LTC (Long Term Care)
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 25% of the time within surrounding cities of; Ft. Myers, Hendry County, and Lehigh Acres.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in social services, nursing, psychology, gerontology; LPN/RN preferred
  • Experience using a wide variety of training tools to effectively facilitate to a wide audience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects or processes with limited deadlines

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
