Hybrid - Fully Flexible and expected to work from our world headquarters office once per month to several times a week. The specific days in the office are determined by managers based on business requirements. Rotary is under the jurisdiction of Illinois employment laws; we require all employees to live within reasonable daily commuting distance to Evanston.

Position Overview
The Learning Technology Supervisor works with the department and area managers to support distance learning for Rotarians at the club, district and international level, through Rotary’s learning management system (LMS). This position works with staff and volunteers to plan and assist in producing distance learning.
You Will Have
Bachelor’s degree.Minimum two to four years related job experience in learning technology.Previous supervisory experience preferred, or demonstrated leadership potential.Knowledge of Learning Management Systems.Knowledge of instructional design.Project management skills. Ability to work as part of a collaborative team. Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure. Facilitation skills to create effective learning experiences in person and online.Experience managing live webinars.Experience analyzing data. Strong customer service skills.Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft software.Adaptability to take risks and learn from both successes and failures.Non-English language skills or cross-cultural experience.

You Will Be Responsible For The Learning Management System Establishing the strategy and consistent structure for the LMS. Consulting with staff to determine learning needs and develop technology strategy. Knowing all the functionality of the LMS. Analyzing report data to make decisions. Serving as the main point of contact with our LMS vendor, and product manager including resolving technical difficulties or performance issues. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of LMS technologies, assess vendors, and contribute to the request for proposal and implementation efforts.
Learning and Development Conducting presentations for staff and members to foster understanding of the Learning Center. Overseeing the creation and management of learning materials about the Learning Center for internal and external audiences.
Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervising one coordinator in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Budget Responsibility Consulting on the LMS contract renewal and assisting in coordinating discussions between Rotary staff and the vendor staff. Consulting with manager on predictions of increased costs of the LMS annually.
Other Consulting on organizational priorities that involve the Learning Center. Working some weekends, evenings, and early mornings required.

Salary range $93,150 - $103,500
