| Primary Purpose | Reporting to the Head of System Services and Operations, the Library Operations Coordinator is a system support role whose primary responsibility is the smooth day-to-day operation of the Sacramento Campus & Law Library, including the supervision of the circulation desk, and the recruitment, hiring, and training, of student library assistants. System support duties to include regularly collaborating and supporting library and librarian projects, managing library social media accounts and generating social media content, and regular support of library scholarship and publishing efforts. This position combines customer service management and delivery, student employee supervision, training, and development, academic library operations, academic support, and a commitment to meeting the evolving needs of a diverse campus population. The Sacramento Library Coordinator works closely with library management, staff, and campus partners to foster a positive study environment, ensure seamless delivery of library services, and actively support student academic success. |

Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Work Environment/Work Week/Travel: Work is primarily performed in both office and academic environments. Work schedule will be determined based on staffing needs and library usage, with an expected regular schedule of Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 am to 7 pm. Must be flexible to work during weeknights and occasional weekends. |
| Hiring Range | $25.00 - $26.44 per hour. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. |
