The role supports Thomas Metcalf Elementary School by assisting in literacy, information access, research skills instruction, and library program administration. Support literacy and research skills for preschool to 8th grade students at Thomas Metcalf Elementary School
Assist with library program administration and instruction
Proficiency in Microsoft products, Google products, OPAC, scheduling software, and use of electronic devices like iPads
High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of combined relevant experience or coursework
Preferred knowledge of children's literature and experience working with children
Strong verbal and written communication skills, creativity, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm
Hourly pay range between $20.12 and $20.77
Position subject to academic break layoff from late May through mid-August
