The University of Florida Lastinger Center for Learning is hiring a Literacy Implementation Specialist. This role facilitates professional development and training for school administrators, coaches, and teachers, while serving as a liaison between the College of Education and partner schools to support literacy initiatives focused on reading instruction.
Highlights
Facilitate and support face-to-face, virtual, and online literacy professional learning experiences.
Design and deliver multi-day literacy training sessions for educators and administrators.
Develop professional learning materials incorporating adult learning strategies and evidence-based practices.
Provide onsite coaching and support to instructional leaders and teachers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure research-based educational product delivery.
Manage project budgets related to implementation activities including travel and materials.
Required: Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
Preferred qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Reading or Special Education, Reading Endorsement, and experience with early learning language and literacy.
Technical skills include proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, Excel, and SmartSheet.
