Sr Product Manager
The Jed Foundation (JED) seeks a skilled and experienced LMS and Digital Product Administrator to join our team. Reporting to the Sr. Product Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to The Jed Foundation and its end users by maintaining JED’s Learning Management System and several connected technologies in JED’s Online Training ecosystem. These tools are used by thousands of educators, administrators and community-based organizations each year in support of JED’s mission to prevent suicide and protect the emotional health our nation’s teens and young adults.
The LMS and Digital Product Administrator works closely with the Educational Programming team to maintain and scale technology-based training that supports JED’s suicide prevention programs, which include school professionals participating in JED Academic Programs, youth-serving community-based organizations and caring adults like parents, caregivers and trusted adults.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate must be self-motivated to learn new skills, be well organized, have excellent communication and troubleshooting skills, demonstrate keen attention to detail and be excited about helping shaping technology to scale the impact and reach of JED’s programs.
This is a remote position with approximate 5% travel for internal meetings within the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of JED’s Digital Learning ecosystem, including but not limited to: course configuration and set-up, user access configuration (including single-sign-on) for partner organizations, help maintain an integrated resource library, configure surveys and evaluations tied to JED’s training, and maintain environment hygiene and release documentation across sandbox and production, etc.
- Conduct quality assurance (QA) testing for JED’s Digital Learning ecosystem, including end-to-end testing for registration through certification. Collaborate with instructional designers to test the integration of SCORM packages into the Learning Management System.
- Pull training data and reports, audit course completions, work with Research & Evaluation Team to ensure accurate data management, generate reports and support data analysis to identify improvement opportunities in the digital delivery and user experience of JED's training programs.
- Lead the completion of various back-office tasks including, but not limited to, account creation and management, training enrollment management, subscription access management, and training credit management.
- Help support the implementation of future AI-supported workflows for end-user support and impact reporting. This includes supporting the technical discovery of new AI support tools, prototyping and implementing new processes from concept to delivery.
- Provide timely and caring end-user support for learners engaging with JED’s Online Training ecosystem, JED staff and partners using The Hub. This includes helping with access and authentication issues, helping troubleshoot technical barriers, triaging cross-department support to resolve issues and communicating remediation with staff and external stakeholders. Operate within a defined support model (tiering, response SLAs, coverage hours, escalation path) and maintain the feedback loop from support into the product backlog by categorizing issues, surfacing recurring themes, and proposing fixes that reduce future volume.
- Help with technical discovery and planning to support the evolution of JED’s Digital Learning product ecosystem. This includes testing new features offered by our 3rd party LMS, mapping out integration opportunities with The Hub and JED’s website (jedfoundation.org), and adapting the product over time to meet JED’s evolving org objectives
- Partner with instructional designers and instructional developers to manage instructor-led training, self-paced modules, videos, knowledge checks, surveys, and training resources within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Train, coach, and support internal and external end users as they learn our new platform. This includes the creation and maintenance of end-user and partner-facing training materials.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that help administrators utilize the system properly.
- Own the operating cadence for the digital learning and Hub: schedule and prepare recurring planning, refinement, and release ceremonies; produce agendas and notes; and track decisions and action items to closure across product, engineering, instructional design, and program teams.
